This reminds me of something that happened last year. I was taking an exam in one of my classes. It was open book, but I had already finished all the questions I needed the book for. The teacher comes up to me and says some other girl in the class forgot her book and she wanted to know if I could let her borrow it for a little bit. I say sure and hand the book to the teacher, in what I’m 99% sure was a completely neutral tone. She takes the book, puts her hands up defensively, gets this shocked look on her face, and walks away very quickly.
